The Studio
Design that goes beyond appearance.
ar.qi designs is a design studio for residential and commercial spaces. We work on houses, interiors, kitchens and commercial environments, giving each the same attention to planning, proportion and detail.
Our work begins with how a space will be used and ends with how it is built. In between, we look for clear ideas, practical solutions and materials that suit the place, so that the result is calm, useful and lasting.

Areas of Expertise
What we do.
A design-first practice with the capability to carry projects through documentation and construction.
- 01Residential DesignHouses planned around the way a household lives, from site and layout to the finished rooms.
- 02Interior DesignInteriors where layout, light, materials and furniture are designed together.
- 03Kitchen DesignKitchens planned for how you cook, store and gather, detailed down to the drawer.
- 04Commercial SpacesOffices, shops, restaurants and cafés designed around how the business actually runs.
- 05RenovationCareful renovation and remodelling that respects what already works.
- 06Design + BuildOne studio responsible for the design and for seeing it delivered on site.
Design Philosophy
Considered in every detail.
Reference image. Not ar.qi designs work.
A space is successful when its appearance, its materials, its plan and the way it is built all support one another. We hold these together from the first sketch to the last site visit.
- Visual clarity
- Fewer, better decisions. A restrained palette and clear proportions let light, material and use carry the space.
- Materials
- Chosen for how they feel, how they age and how they perform in a tropical climate, not only for how they photograph.
- Function
- Plans begin with daily routines and operations: where things are stored, how people move, where they pause.
- Execution
- Details are drawn to be built. We stay involved through documentation and construction so the design arrives intact.
Our Process
From first conversation to finished space.
Five stages, each with a clear purpose and a point where you review and approve the work before the next begins.
- 01
Discovery & Consultation
We listen first: how you live or operate, what the space must do, your budget and your timeline.
- 02
Concept & Planning
Layouts, spatial ideas and an overall design direction, explored in sketches, plans and early 3D studies.
- 03
Design Development
The approved concept is refined into a complete design, with materials, lighting and joinery resolved.
- 04
Documentation & Coordination
Drawings and schedules precise enough to price and build from, coordinated with engineers and specialists.
- 05
Execution & Delivery
Construction is coordinated and reviewed on site until the space is complete and handed over.
Studio
The people behind the work.
A small studio where the people you meet at the first consultation stay with the project until it is complete.
